The Calculators require support for JavaScript v1.1 or later in your browser. Some of the visual customization features offered require browser support for CSS v 2.1 or later. The following have been tested and are believed to meet these requirements:
Firefox for Win vv 3, 10, 13, 15, 42, 52 (vv 4, 5, 6, 7 not supported)
Internet Explorer v 7
Google Chrome for Win vv 9, 25, 98
Google Chrome for Android v 85
Opera for Win vv 8.5, 11.64, 12
Other versions of the above may work correctly as well, but such have not been tested.
The calculators do not collect the data you supply, but a few of them offer to save / recall a single dataset. On some calculators (see Usage Notes therein), you can choose to 'bookmark' a calculated page to save your input data on your local system for later re-use/review.
In cases where help is available for fields, column headings, or settings, the text of the item will be a 'hyperlink'. Click on it to bring up a window of information that attempts to explain esoteric items or expand abbreviations, illuminate acronyms, etc.
The calculators use one 'cookie' which assigns your system a unique identifier. This is used to count the number of times you use a calculator and log your browser type (so I can know which ones need to be supported...). Calculators that allow the saving of a single dataset also use the cookie to locate your dataset if you recall it. The cookie will be automatically deleted from your system if you do not return to one of these calculator pages during a contiguous 6-month period.
